Today, the EPFU was in Belfort, France, for the Young Pilots' Air Tour organised by the FFA- Fédération Française Aéronautique

Since 1953, this grand Tour de France bring together 45 pilots under the age of 25 from all over France to share their passion over a 15-day period: by perfecting their skills through flights and challenges supervised by instructors, and with the public, by acting as ambassadors for light aviation and sport.

Well done for this fine organisation, and « bon tour » to the young pilots!

The EPFU General Assembly was held today in Mulhouse-Habsheim, France, at the invitation of the FFA- Fédération Française Aéronautique and the clubs present (Aéroclub des 3 Frontières, Aéroclub du Haut-Rhin - ACHR, Air Alsace) and as special guest the new President of the French federation Kevin Dupuch.
Thank you all for your warm welcome!

This General Assembly was also marked by
- Antti Kääriäinen (FIN🇫🇮) was re-elected President of our union.
- Jérémy Henches (FRA🇫🇷) was elected General Secretary in replacement of Xavier Barral, after 11 years of service.
- René Meier (CHE🇨🇭) was re-elected as technical advisor.

Concluding EPFU AGM in Copenhagen with a really nice city tour, including visit of the Town Hall and a boat trip.

A big thank you to Knud Nielsen (AOPA DMU) for all the warm welcome that we received this weekend !

Today, in Copenhagen, invited by AOPA Denmark, our AGM was held.
This highlight of our association could be held in person again after the Covid period, which forced us to use video conferencing.

In the presence of representatives from Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Norway and France, we concluded the past year and looked forward to 2023.
At the heart of the discussions was the future of the Avgas 100LL and the need to create a competence centre for electric/hybrid aircraft.

We also carried out the required statutory work and elected Martin Ryff (Switzerland) as Vice President.

Our Treasurer Manfred Kunschitz (Austria) and our Webmaster Marc-André Heurtevant (France) were re-elected for another term.

We would like to thank AOPA Denmark for its warm welcome and all our members for their daily action for a dynamic and ambitious aviation.
