5 years ago we first met Stephane and Clara when they took over a campsite that was very close to our hearts, and they have done a fantastic job of taking Camping Beau Rivage Navarrenx to the next step of development. If you haven’t visited Navarrenx yet, you are missing out! It is a fantastic area, full of nature and culture, between the sea and the mountains. The campsite is perfectly placed to walk into the town with shops bars and restaurants, or to watch the river and explore the medieval walled village. We really do love this place. Nous sommes Clara et Stéphane les heureux gérants et propriétaires du camping Beau Rivage à Navarrenx depuis 5 ans maintenant. Quelle joie de vous accueillir chaque été, de plus en plus nombreux, pour profiter du camping et visiter notre magnifique région dont nous sommes si fières !
Petit récap: après quelques années passées à Paris et à l'étranger pour notre travail nous avons décidés il y a 6 ans de changer de vie : être au plus près de la nature et nous tourner vers un métier passion! Lors de notre première visite à Beau Rivage nous sommes tombés amoureux de ce camping rempli de fidèles anglais situé à Navarrenx, village de naissance du grand-père de Clara.
La piscine💦, la végétation luxuriante🌿 : la situation entre mer⛱ et montagne🏔, au coeur du village médiéval et en bordure de rivière🚣‍♂️, : tout était réuni !
Nous nous sentions à la bonne place, heureux de revenir aux sources!
Depuis, nous avons développé le camping en ajoutant des chalets premiums, des lodges, une caravane bar🍻... Chaque année nous avons à coeur de faire en sorte que le camping soit de plus en plus accueillant!

We are Clara and Stéphane, the happy owners and managers of the Beau Rivage campsite in Navarrenx for 5 years now. We are delighted to welcome you every summer, in ever-increasing numbers, to enjoy the campsite and visit our magnificent region, of which we are so proud!
A little background: after spending a few years working in Paris and abroad, we decided 6 years ago to change our lives: to get closer to nature and turn to a job we were passionate about! On our first visit to Beau Rivage we fell in love with this campsite full of loyal English people located in Navarrenx, the birthplace of Clara's grandfather.
The swimming pool💦, the lush vegetation🌿 : the location between the sea⛱ and the mountains🏔, in the heart of the medieval village and on the edge of rivière🚣‍♂️, : it all came together!
We felt we were in the right place, happy to be returning to our roots!
Since then, we've developed the campsite by adding premium chalets, lodges, a caravan bar🍻.... Every year we strive to make the campsite more and more welcoming!

It's lovely to see new campsite owners settling in and becoming part of our network. Jon and Bernie are now starting their second season at Camping Le Paradis and are busy making positive changes. It's a small friendly campsite, the perfect place to do nothing and chill. Plus they've got hard standing pitches during this terrible weather we're having in France at the moment. Luckily it stopped long enough for me to take these pics!

Sometimes after a day's work you just need some home comforts. Thank you Camping Le Moulin and Restaurant des canards for a great onsite meal. Sometimes a guiness and a pie is exactly what you need! And we didn't have far to waddle back to the caravan. Cheers!

Well done Camping Sous Les Étoiles Normandie for this great article in the paper. Not only are they the top rated campsite in Normandy on Pitch Up, they have a very near perfect score of 9.8 out of 10. A well deserved rating!
