🇫🇷Le Goblin Bikes GB02 se pare de nouvelles couleurs.
Ce sont en effet deux nouveaux coloris qui arrivent en renfort du rouge « coursier », qui vous est familier. Voici la première version que nous avons appelée BLUE NOTES. Vous l'avez la ref' ? On aurait aussi pu dire Some kinds Of Blue d'ailleurs. Bref, le GB02 est désormais disponible en bleu...
Et nous vous présenterons prochainement un bike check complet du vélo de notre amie Nien, dont vous avez un premier aperçu ici.

🇬🇧The Goblin Bikes GB02 is getting a makeover in new colors.
Two new colors are joining the familiar "roadie" red. Here's the first version, which we've dubbed BLUE NOTES. Get the reference? We could have also called it Some Kinds of Blue, for that matter. Anyway, the GB02 is now available in blue...
And we'll soon be presenting a full bike check of our friend Nien's bike, which you can see a first glimpse of here.

In the midst of the rainy season, the second round of the Taiwanese Gravel Fundo series took place in truly atrocious conditions. The Goblin chief, was the sole representative of the Goblin Bikes team this time, his usual teammates all citing more or less credible reasons for skipping the race. Will those who withdrew have a ride for the third round? It's far from certain; ultimately, it's his decision. Here's what he told us after the race:

"I registered despite being completely out of shape, and I'd already decided to approach the race in survival mode, which turned out to be the only way. In the end, we saw a 50% dropout rate among the men in such a short 19km race... In the over-fifty category, only two of us finished, so second place for me behind a kid thirteen years my junior. A little anecdote: I thought I'd never make it out of a 50m long, off-camber singletrack where I must have fallen flat on my face a good ten times in the mud, trying to push my bike! A huge thank you to the course marshal who pulled me out of that quagmire. Ah, we'll remember this one, and contrary to what they think, those who weren't there were definitely wrong."

3️⃣ Laurence fell in love with the GB02
as soon as she saw it at Vaunage Passion Vélo.However, she had to wait a few months before taking possession of her very own GB02, meticulously prepared by VPV.
When you create so much expectation, the risk is disappointment in practice…
But from her very first rides, she was completely won over by her new bike.
She recently shared a postwith this heartfelt statement.

🇬🇧 In Japan, cherry blossoms and Goblin Bikes are blooming …
Ping is Japanese. A few weeks ago, while visiting Taiwan, he came to see—and quickly try out—the Goblin Bikes GB02 he had discovered online. He subsequently ordered a frame from us and sent us some photos of the build he just completed.

Ping est japonais. Voici quelques semaines, de passage à Taïwan il était venu voir en vrai -et rapidement essayer- le Goblin Bikes GB02 qu’il avait découvert sur internet. Il nous a commandé un cadre par la suite, et nous a envoyé quelques photos du montage qu’il vient de réaliser.

En décembre dernier, nos amis de Vaunage, Passion Velos affichaient une bonne résolution dans leur magasin : un Goblin Bikes pour 2026. Il semblerait que cela soit bien parti, puisque en l’espace d’un mois, ils nous ont présenté pas moins de quatre projets basés sur le cadre VTT, GB04 et un très beau montage personnalisé du GB02. Bravo et merci les potos.

Last December, our friends at Vaunage Passion Velos displayed a New Year’s resolution in their shop: a Goblin Bikes by 2026. It seems they’re well on their way, since in just one month they’ve presented us with no fewer than four projects based on the GB04 mountain bike frame and a very nice custom build of the GB02. Well done and thanks, guys!

🇫🇷 Le team Goblin Bikes a participé à la première manche de la série taiwanaise Gravel Fundo sous une forme inhabituelle, puisque notre pilote féminine Totto avait déclaré forfait sur blessure. Trois des quatre coureurs concourraient dans la catégorie très relevée des hommes de 35 à 50 ans. Thomas s'est encore montré le plus rapide, en décrochant une belle quatrième place. Victime d'une crevaison à cinq minute du départ (le mécano sera viré), Etienne s'est élancé bon dernier et bien stressé après avoir précipitamment monté une chambre à air. Il décroche cependant une honorable quatorzième place. Anthony, quand à lui était venu en touriste avec son sac à dos (il pensait trouver des champignons), sans objectif de résultat, nous respecterons donc son choix en ne dévoilant pas sa place finale. Quant au Goblin en chef, il était tout heureux du retour de la catégorie des plus de cinquante ans qui lui a permis de décrocher une médaille avec sa troisième place... sur quatre (en ronchonnant qu'il est bien premier des plus de soixante).

🇬🇧The Goblin Bikes team entered the first round of the Taiwanese Gravel Fundo series in an unusual format, as our female rider Totto had to withdraw due to injury. Three of the four riders competed in the highly competitive men's 35-50 age group. Thomas once again proved to be the fastest, securing a strong fourth place. Suffering a puncture five minutes before the start (the mechanic will be fired), Etienne started dead last and quite stressed after hastily fitting an inner tube. He nevertheless managed a respectable fourteenth place. Anthony, meanwhile, came as a tourist with his backpack (hoping to find mushrooms?), without any specific goal in mind; we will therefore respect his decision by not revealing his final position. As for the Goblin in chief he was very happy about the return of the over-fifty category which allowed him to win a medal with his third place... out of four (grumbled that he is indeed first in the over-sixties category).
