A first-generation Mustang reimagined for the ultimate open-air driving experience.

When collectors and enthusiasts asked Original Venice Crew for a custom roadster, the team drew from decades of racing, design, and mechanical experience. Peter Brock shaped key front-end elements, Camilo Pardo styled the roadster’s tonneau cover, and Shelby American legend Ted Sutton helped guide the mechanical character of the car.

As Sutton put it, “It truly transcends the decades to create the ultimate top-down motoring experience.”

Old-school aero testing for an old-school race car.

At Willow Springs Raceway, the Original Venice Crew pushes the aerodynamic window on a 1965 OVC Competition Mustang using a classic yarn test. Placing strings across the body to visualize airflow at speed.

Inspired by Peter Brock’s vision, this test explores the benefits of a reversed hood scoop, now known as a cowl induction hood scoop, along with exhale vents designed to release high-pressure air from under the hood.

Another great day at the track with the Original Venice Crew.
