Who fancies a 'Mini' draft? Dear little Houpette, 10yrs, 15hh, one professional owner, purebred, passport 5 generations, BOTH sides. This little lady has lived with us for over a year. Why? There's no rush in Normandy! However, it's time for her to find her family. She'd suit anyone who would like some fancy moves, but most of all her person for life. No filter needed; that's just Dr Green & good care. She'll be as rare as hens teeth in the UK; she's a Frieberger, not only that, but in the 2% club if you care to do your research on this endangered breed... Of course, she doesn't know any of this; but a good horse, is a good horse...

Our Darling Mr Gee has landed with his new mummy. The floodgates opened when we posted him. We never responded to 'how much?' Without so much as a please. We 'interviewed' many people (if that's the right word to find his match) You can certainly try before you buy (outdoors hacking, in the real world) You can have whatever vetting you wish for. But we really want you to understand; that if we set out our conditions of sale, it's because of the well-being of the horse, of you & of our reputation. We will NEVER send a horse for you to 'try' for a month. If it doesn't work; how disturbed will the horses' equilibrium be? A horse can not lie down on a councillors couch to unburden themselves...it's the equal responsibility of the buyer & seller to understand.
Anyway, he's 15.hh, 10yrs old, as generous, willing & versatile as can be & I know we will be kept updated; his mum is already an owner of a Jouvin, and we've been friends ever since...🥰

Someone said today, how lovely it was to see the pride we take in our horses. The picture below constitutes our ultimate pride; many by now have heard of the Normandy Cob, but the original Normandy Cob was known as the Carrossier. 50yrs plus in the making, they are now alive & well once more. Just small numbers; 6/8 a year. Plenty of bone, unbelievably willing, plus incredibly versatile. Dressage? Hunting? XC? All perfectly possible. Akin to an Irish draught in elegance. Just far fewer available. In fact, they are only available at Ze family farm in Normandy.
