Magnificent repliqua of S/Y Atlantic designed by William Gardner in 1903 which made the Atlantic crossing record in 1905 and was only beaten in 1998. Although after World War ll the original S/Y Atlantic would never sail again. She refused to give up her existence. She was saved from scrap yard on three different occasions…
Finally she was broken in January 1982 at Newport News Boat Harbor, Virginia.
