DRIFT SM RD3 done🫡

I had zero expectations for this competition since all our Pesämäki trips have been bad. Well, I was still kind of right this time as well🤣

Friday went well and we got the hang of the track quite quickly. Qualifying also went really well with a 99p run, which I don’t really feel was that good. Yes, it was the best, but maybe not 99p. During the weekend we also got the hang of our chase game really fast. I was also semi-confident chasing slower cars.

Saturday went really well up to top 4. On the OMT against Drift Team Airaksinen , I went too fast on the initiation, combined with the track temps dropping, and went off track. Stupid mistake, trying to really push to seal the deal.

To be honest, I am really disappointed, but what can you do. To end on a positive note, I really think our chase game has improved insanely, and I am really happy with it. Still some more door rubbing needed, but we will get there!

DMGP Ahvenisto done and dusted 🔥

Friday’s practice was quite a bit of getting used to the new clipping point placements. It was surprisingly difficult to reset your brain from the Finnish championship placements.

On Saturday the lead started to click, and that also showed in our qualifying score: 93.2p 🤟🏼 14th place in qualifying, which is quite insane with this level of drivers.

On Sunday we struggled to find the pace in the run-up to the initiations, but right at the end we nailed the launch timing in the chase position. In Top 32 we went up against Jason Banet , who is a really fast driver. It sadly came down to small errors in my lead that the judges felt made it difficult for Banet to chase. So one judge went OMT and two for Banet. A bit gutted, but I have to be happy with our overall performance throughout the weekend. Lets hope we get another chance to be a part of Drift Masters in the future🙏🏼

93.2p in our first DMGP qualifying🤯🔥

On friday we didn't really feel comfortable yet but in todays trainings we really got the flow. On friday evening we also had to change the power steering pump, thanks to for the spare!🙏🏼

Qualifying went above expectations and we are in the top half of top32💪🏼 Tommorrow we go full send!🤝🏽
