New arrival: 458 Speciale

Within the limited production of the 458 Speciale, this particular example is distinguished by its exceptional provenance, highly individual factory specification, remarkably low mileage and outstanding original condition.

For its specification, the brief was a particularly demanding one: to create a 458 Speciale of remarkable individuality while retaining a sense of subtlety and elegance, without relinquishing the unmistakable presence of Ferrari’s signature red. Finished in Rosso Corsa with Nero DS 1250 two-tone body paint, the exterior is complemented by a special “Extracampionario” Nero leather interior with Rosso contrasting stitching and detailing.

The specification was further brought together through a series of special orders documented under *“Allestimento Speciale Commessa”*, including two factory-ordered luggage sets, carbon fibre interior floor plates, special-order Alcantara interior components and other individually specified features.

Further enhancing its appeal is its exceptionally low mileage. Having covered just 3,306 km from new and remaining with its original owner, the car retains its original factory paint. Its provenance and history are exceptional, while its condition reflects the extraordinary care afforded to such a low-mileage example. The original service book, leather pouch containing the factory manuals and original purchase invoice are all present.

The 458 Speciale is one of the most significant modern Ferrari road cars, marking the end of Ferrari’s naturally aspirated V8 era in its sports-car range. An example combining single-owner provenance, just 3,306 km from new, original factory paint, exceptional history, a highly distinctive factory specification and comprehensive original documentation—further complemented by its two original factory-ordered Ferrari luggage sets—represents a particularly compelling opportunity for the discerning collector.

Private enquiries welcome.

New arrival: 458 Speciale, a sibling to the LaFerrari — and the resemblance goes beyond their striking appearance.

Both cars were commissioned with the same demanding brief: remarkable individuality, balanced by subtlety and elegance, while retaining the unmistakable presence of Ferrari’s signature red.

Their specifications were brought together through individually commissioned features documented under “Allestimento Speciale Commessa”, resulting in two highly distinctive Ferraris that share a remarkably similar visual language.

Two cars from the same year, two very different expressions of Ferrari performance — yet a specification that brings them remarkably close.

2,413 km | LaFerrari
3,306 km | 458 Speciale

Both now available at P1 Cars.

FOR SALE: Ferrari LaFerrari “Tailor Made”

Within an already exceptionally limited production run, this particular LaFerrari is distinguished by its remarkable provenance, history, highly individual factory specification, exceptionally low mileage and outstanding condition.

Its specification is catalogued in the original purchase invoice under “Tailor Made” with “Special Features”. The brief was a particularly demanding one: to create a LaFerrari of remarkable individuality while retaining a sense of subtlety and elegance, without relinquishing the unmistakable presence of Ferrari’s signature red.

The result is an unusually sophisticated configuration, brought together through a series of special orders documented under “Allestimento Speciale Commessa”. Among them is the extension of the two-tone black onto the front bonnet, specifically described in the factory documentation as “extending to the bonnet first fin”; specially commissioned red inserts, approximately half the thickness of the standard treatment; and glossy black rear flaps, among other individualized features.

Adding further significance is its exceptionally low mileage. Having covered just 2,413 km from new, the car has remained with its single owner, retains its original factory paint, and has been serviced throughout by Ferrari, with its most recent service being in 2026. Its condition is exceptional, preserving the originality and integrity expected of such a low-mileage example.

The car further benefits from the official Ferrari warranty and maintenance programme, including battery coverage, through 2028.

It is accompanied by its original Ferrari Yellow Book, luggage set, fire extinguisher, original service book, leather pouch containing the manuals, original 2014 purchase invoice and additional documentation.

Now available on our website.

Monterey 2026 is a wrap. But what is going on in the collector’s car market?

Pepe shares his take:

For the impatient reader: here’s your quick conclusion — consolidation, and the acceptance that “cars” can be an asset class.

For the “bubble” believers: yes, not everything’s turning into gold. Be critical of the public voice, study the data, and draw your own conclusions.

The highlights:
• 5 auction houses. 5 different venues. A hectic schedule, too much distraction.

• Ca. $800.000.000 in transactional volume over a single weekend.

• Clearly, some consignors consigned to sell — special mention to our friends at ’s for their great work here. Others never even considered selling, and enjoyed saying no to ridiculously great offers. Which brings us to:

• We’ve been saying this for years: the majority of our annual turnover comes from buying and selling — we rarely consign. In recent years, with an exponential increase over the last 24 months, the buying side has become ever more challenging. The hands holding the truly special cars are strong, and unmotivated to let go. And there are very few special ones left.

• Significant classics haven’t been forgotten. There’s still plenty of liquidity waiting to be allocated to the right ones.

• Buyers, for the most part, are seriously educated. Some have simply inherited a trend without deep, careful study — and not everything holds up.

• If you’ve built your portfolio with serious concern for delta realization, it’s time to sell — among others — your Carrera GT. If you study the market values of “similar” vehicles, their inherent characteristics, what it would take for this model to see a substantial price move, and how long that could take, you’ll find you’re really betting on the whole asset class rising, rather than on having picked the right model.

• The rarest of the rare inevitably brings the unheard-of.

• The LaFerrari has awakened, and is finally receiving the praise it deserves for its significance among its siblings. Grab them while you can. Watching the Coupe post consecutive world records, what would the Bachman Aperta fetch today?

A few days ago, we asked the question: 993 RS or 964 RS — which one would you take?

The debate was, as expected, anything but settled.

But after reading through your comments, one thing became clear: the 993 RS is a very strong force. And seeing these two together only makes that case more compelling.

The 993 RS Touring is a remarkable balance of performance, usability and character — still analogue, still naturally aspirated, and still powered by one of Porsche’s most celebrated air-cooled flat-sixes.

Now that our beautiful Polar Silver example is sold, we’re excited about the lineup to be shared soon for our Autumn catalogue.

After buying, selling and driving multiple examples of both the 964 Carrera RS and the 993 Carrera RS over the years, we’ve often been asked the same question:

Which one is better?

The answer is never simple.

The 964 feels connected, uncompromising. Every input matters, it demands attention. The 993 RS took that philosophy one step further. Greater composure, improved balance and the final evolution of the air-cooled Rennsport formula. Equally rewarding, yet a very different experience.

Two generations. One philosophy. One shared purpose.

Which side are you on?

964 RS or 993 RS?
