Lanzarote Karting San Bartolome is a British-run company with over 25 years of experience in the karting industry within the UK and boasts the only karting circuit on Lanzarote recommended by the major tour operators. We have NKA-style-trained staff to ensure a high level of track safety. NKA is based in the UK ( National Karting Association) and has very strict safety standards. The Health and Safety of our customers are our prime concerns

It makes all the hard work worth it.

I started karting in 1981 with NatSKA, won a few championships, and have raced at tracks all over the world. But this Lanzarote track is something else (in a good way).

Exiting the pit lane, you’re quickly confronted with your first left-hand hairpin, and at least half of it is downhill! Then you negotiate a sweeping right and a sharp left again, all downhill before you finally enter the straight. This is a short-lived rest for your brain, which is still computing what just happened to it. Then it’s the end of the straight, fast hairpin. Thank god, something you know how to take. Short-lived, because you’re now confronted with a hill climb consisting of four tortuous, slippery turns before you’re finally back on the pit straight.

What a great track, highly technical and a real brain scratcher. It’s quite a fast track, to be honest, in places, but the fun is discovering those lines on a hot volcanic hillside.

The whole place is well run. The karts you can tell are well looked after. The marshals, pit lane crew, everyone are spot on. Safety aspects are brilliant. You can even call them, and they do free pickups and returns (which are faultless) from the resorts.
