At PPG, some of the most important contributions happen behind the scenes. Today, we're proud to recognize Cristian Tellini, Logistics Manager, as a recipient of the 2026 Rainmaker Award.

Cristian was recognized for his exceptional contribution to manufacturing logistics at Italian sites this year. He played a key role in leading actions that ensured business continuity while supporting the company's broader transformation efforts.

Through determination, accountability, and a strong results-oriented approach, Cristian identified and implemented an effective operational solution within a very short timeframe. His ability to remain focused under pressure helped protect the business, maintain uninterrupted operations, and minimize financial impact during a critical phase of change.

This year, Cristian joins Luca Colombo as one of only two Refinish employees to receive this prestigious recognition, a reflection of the leadership, commitment, and impact they bring to our business every day.

Today, we're proud to recognize one of those individuals, Luca Colombo, who was selected as a recipient of the 2026 Rainmaker Award.

Luca, a Waterborne Products Development Lab Manager, leads a team dedicated to developing new waterborne products for our market. His ability to lead a large team to success under accelerated timelines, communicate effectively across business functions and levels, and consistently demonstrate focus, commitment, and integrity are just some of the qualities that set him apart.

The Rainmaker Award is the highest honor granted by PPG's leadership team across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It recognizes employees who don't just meet expectations but transform them. In 2026, 16 employees were selected for acting with purpose and speed while continuing to champion customer success, and Luca was among them. Luca's recognition is especially significant as it reflects the growth and progress achieved by the S&T Milan team over the last three years and represents the first Rainmaker Award earned by the facility.

For many across EMEA, today’s solar eclipse is a rare opportunity to witness an incredible astronomical event. Depending on where you are, the partial eclipse may last for nearly two hours, while those in the path of totality will experience about 2 minutes and 30 seconds of complete darkness.
