Due to an official RED weather warning, all beaches in the municipality of Orihuela will close from 5:00 PM today. Lifeguards will raise red flags, meaning swimming will not be allowed.
The decision has been made because of forecasts of:

The affected beaches include:
🏖️ Punta Prima
🏖️ Cala Piteras
🏖️ Cala Ferris

🏖️ Cala Capitán
🏖️ Cabo Roig Beach & La Caleta
🏖️ La Glea (Campoamor)

⚠️ If you’re planning to spend the afternoon by the sea, follow the advice of lifeguards and local authorities, and avoid entering the water while the red flags are in place.
