Weekend Thoughts from Paradise ⚙️🌍
The situation in Ceuta, Spain is devastating. Right-wing parties are exploiting the crisis, even hiding police reports (or did maybe they did not exist?), while hundreds of immigrants, young people, women, and children, bear the weight of it all. And let’s not forget: the people of Ceuta are paying the price too. Moreover, it’s disgusting to see right-wing protestors setting tents and shelters on fire, blocking roads so the Red Cross can’t deliver food to the most vulnerable. Honestly, in what world are we living?
Yes, maybe it feels like an escape, but it’s not. We’re loading the Pan-American to head to Pendine, Wales, for the most anticipated event of the year: the VHRA Pendine Sands Hot Rod Races, the fastest race on sand on earth. Meeting racer friends from all over the globe, just great.
In Paradise, we’re trapped in daily routines and challenges. In our world, it mainly takes fuel, air, and a spark to fire up. We love it, even if it’s sometimes tricky.
