👉 This Renault Trafic had an error with underboost, or so it thought.
👉 Found pipe to map sensor split. Repaired, job done ✅

⁉️ The map (manifold absolute pressure) sensor is basically a boost pressure sensor which tells the ecu what the pressure going to the inlet manifold is. The ecu can then adjust the turbo's wastegate or variable geometry vanes to raise or lower the pressure depending on demand

👉 Like our very own volvo V50 here, rare it goes wrong but then it's getting old now!
👉 Standard vehicle diagnosis puts the dpf pressure sensor at fault, but wait... What's this? Volvo vida with the same fault code tells us it's actually the dpf temperature sensor.
✅ A quick drive with both the cat temp sensor and dpf temp sensor graphed and we can see irrational spikes from the dpf temp sensor (blue)
✅ Changed and all ok
✅ Now, WE are back on the road again 😂
