It finally floats, back down there tomorrow to have a clean up and line the engines, then take some diesel and go out give her a run. The bench on the back will be coming off after the inspection and the fighting chair will be back in its place.

So back here in Cape Verde and a little update, engines back in the boat, live bait tank installed. Tomorrow will connect all electronics and install the fighting chair. Its getting there. I am back in Tenerife next Wednesday for a couple of weeks then hopefully on the next visit will get the boat back in the water and start renewing paperwork. Not long now

Still missing out on quite a few pictures I’ll be posting them soon. Had quite a few good months with the wahoo and now they’ve stopped feeding but at least some skipjack tunas have turn up let’s hope that the marlin follow

Nice day yesterday in the north of La gomera there’s is quite a few fish a haven’t posted yet you will probably see them in a few days. The fishing not been the best but last week was quite good with yellowfin and skipjack tuna, before that there was a few wahoo.

A little update from Cape verde, while I have been down here getting this boat Ready Jay has been doing well with the wahoo back in Tenerife. I am back for a few weeks on Saturday. Still need a few things done but getting there slowly, here is a picture of her with outriggers on. We are waiting for the engines to go back in then paint the bottom and in the water. Looking forward to getting out in Cape Verde and see what the fishing is really like.

25 kg wahoo from yesterday it’s been a bit hard this few weeks but there’s still some good fish here.
