SAG - set it correctly and ride the “magic carpet”. Well - after seeing all sorts of numbers on customer bikes, we wish to say that, just set something. Anything is better than not setting it at all, because in doing so - You learn about Your bike and the situation the dynamic duo is at the moment. And NO- setting SAG lower is not the correct way to lower any bike. Bikes have a designed geometry and a “safety net” of reserves if and when the suspension is using the given travel. If You force the bike to ride on any end of extreme of that, you will lose grip. Not a problem on a straight flat. But then again - “Nothing good ever happens on a straight road!” Right 😉

Do not use a hammer for spindle installation. This is the correct freedom of it - it must be free to float during installation of the wheel, to get all aligned.
