What is driving with a supervisor and why is it important?
28 practical driving lessons are a mandatory part of driving school training.
 But to become truly confident behind the wheel, you need additional practice.
This is where a driving supervisor can help — an experienced driver who has officially registered as a supervisor with Transpordiamet.
Important:
* a driving licence in the relevant category for at least 5 years
* the supervisor’s authorisation is valid for 12 months
* the fee is €13 online or €20 at a Transpordiamet service office
What does a supervisor provide?
✔️ more driving practice
 ✔️ repetition of what you have learned
 ✔️ experience on real-life routes
 ✔️ more confidence behind the wheel
 ✔️ the opportunity to practise without additional paid lessons with an instructor
A supervisor does not replace a driving instructor.
An instructor teaches you how to drive correctly, identifies mistakes and helps you develop the right skills.
 A supervisor helps you reinforce those skills through practice.
✅ Instructor + supervisor = more practice and greater confidence before the driving test.
