Think removing window tint is easy? Think again.

If you peel the film off without heating it first, the adhesive stays on the glass—not the film. Those glue residues can cause the window to stick in the rubber seals, putting extra stress on the power window system and potentially damaging the window regulator.
The right way? Heat the film, remove it slowly from the corners toward the center, clean off any remaining adhesive with a professional remover, and always clean the window seals afterward.
One more thing: be careful with the heat. Too much can melt the interior plastic trim—we see this all the time after DIY tint removals.
Done right, tint removal prevents expensive repairs later.
