🔧 THIS is exactly why we don’t install customer-supplied parts. 😅

Customer orders the part themselves.
Vehicle gets taken apart.
Old part comes out.
Box gets opened…

Wrong part. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Now the vehicle can’t be put back together, it’s stuck on one of our lifts, and the correct part won’t arrive for another 2 days.

That means one lift is blocked, other scheduled jobs get pushed back, and everyone loses time — including the customer.

When we supply the parts, we verify fitment, order from suppliers we trust, and if something is wrong, we deal with it.

So when we say:

🚫 “Sorry, we do not install customer-supplied parts.”

…it’s not because we’re trying to make money selling you a part.

It’s because we’ve learned this lesson enough times already. 😂🔧

🤣 WATCH THIS!

Customer came in with his 2025 Toyota Highlander for a simple oil change.

We popped the hood and apparently a Marder had already stopped by for breakfast… or dinner. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤣

And yes… those are sausages stored nicely in the engine bay. 🌭😂

Guess he found himself a nice warm little BBQ spot. 🔥

Just another normal day at Military Car Service. 😂🔧🇺🇸

Moral of the story: Every once in a while, pop your hood and have a look. You never know who’s been using your engine bay as a dining room. 🤣

You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, and can keep things organized in a busy automotive shop.

We’re looking for someone who is:

🇺🇸 Native English speaker (required)
🇩🇪 German is a plus, but not required
🤝 Great with customers and communication
😊 Professional, friendly, and positive
📋 Organized and able to handle multiple tasks
💻 Comfortable working with computers and office software
📅 Available Monday–Friday
💪 Reliable and looking for a long-term position
🛂 Valid German work visa/work permit or SOFA status required

Automotive experience is not required – but an interest in cars definitely doesn’t hurt! 🔧🚗

You’ll be working with our team while serving primarily the American Military Community in the Stuttgart area. 🇺🇸

“Nobody makes flares for 38x15.50 tires… so I’m building my own.”

The DRT flares were never meant to clear 38x15.50s… so we’re making them. 😎

Instead of settling for something “good enough,” we’re cutting, reshaping and extending these flares until they fit the RAMLORD exactly how I want them.

No off the shelf solution.
No shortcuts.
Just a lot of measuring, trimming and custom fabrication.

The goal is simple. Massive tires with a factory looking finish that actually belongs on the truck.

Still a long way to go, but it’s finally starting to take shape. 🤘

RAMLORD Project – The Moment We’ve Been Waiting For. 😈🔥

Today was the first test fit of the 38x15.50R20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires… and wow. 🤯

This is exactly why we started this build.

Seeing these monsters bolted onto the truck for the first time makes all the planning, measuring, ordering, and waiting worth it. And we’re not even finished yet.

There’s still plenty to do:
✅ Finish the custom fender flares
✅ Dial in the suspension
✅ Check clearances
✅ Fine-tune everything before the final setup

But one thing is already clear…

RAMLORD is going to be an absolute beast. 😎
