10 Jahre PROTEC Q18. 10 Jahre mehr Raum.
Was vor 10 Jahren als außergewöhnliche Idee und Prototyp begann, ist heute das Herzstück des PROTEC Q18:
Die Double Full Slide-Out® Technologie.
Zwei Slide-Outs fahren über die komplette Aufbaulänge auf beiden Seiten jeweils 60 cm aus.
Das Ergebnis?
Aus 2,30 m Fahrbreite werden im Stand beeindruckende 3,50 m Wohnbreite – ganze 1,20 m mehr Raum.
So entstehen rund 18 m² luxuriöser Wohnraum in einem Reisemobil, das trotzdem:
unter 8 m lang
unter 7,5 t Gesamtgewicht
und auf der Straße angenehm kompakt bleibt.
Das ist für uns der eigentliche Luxus des Q18: nicht einfach größer bauen, sondern Raum intelligent entstehen lassen.

What began 10 years ago as an extraordinary idea and prototype is now at the heart of the PROTEC Q18:
Double Full Slide-Out® Technology.
Two slide-outs extend 60 cm on each side across the entire length of the body.
The result?
A driving width of 2.30 m expands to an impressive 3.50 m living width when parked – a full 1.20 m of additional space.
This creates around 18 m² of luxurious living space in a motorhome that still remains:
under 8 m long
under 7.5 t gross vehicle weight
and remarkably compact on the road.
For us, this is what makes the Q18 truly luxurious: not simply building bigger, but creating space intelligently.

Ce qui a commencé il y a 10 ans comme une idée extraordinaire et un prototype est aujourd’hui au cœur du PROTEC Q18 :
La technologie Double Full Slide-Out®.
Deux slide-outs s’étendent sur toute la longueur de la cellule, de 60 cm de chaque côté.
Le résultat ?
Une largeur de 2,30 m sur la route qui atteint l’impressionnante largeur habitable de 3,50 m à l’arrêt – soit 1,20 m d’espace supplémentaire.
Le Q18 offre ainsi environ 18 m² d’espace de vie luxueux, tout en restant :
sous les 8 m de longueur
sous les 7,5 t de poids total
et remarquablement compact sur la route.
Pour nous, c’est cela, le véritable luxe du Q18 : ne pas simplement construire plus grand, mais créer intelligemment de l’espace.

Quella che 10 anni fa era un’idea straordinaria e un prototipo è oggi il cuore del PROTEC Q18:
La tecnologia Double Full Slide-Out®.
Due slide-out si estendono per 60 cm su ciascun lato lungo l’intera lunghezza della cellula.
Il risultato?
Da una larghezza di marcia di 2,30 m si passa, una volta fermi, a un’impressionante larghezza abitabile di 3,50 m – ben 1,20 m di spazio in più.
Nascono così circa 18 m² di lussuoso spazio abitativo in un motorhome che rimane:
lungo meno di 8 m
con un peso totale inferiore a 7,5 t
e sorprendentemente compatto su strada.
Per noi, questo è il vero lusso del Q18: non semplicemente costruire più grande, ma creare spazio in modo intelligente.

Lo que comenzó hace 10 años como una idea extraordinaria y un prototipo es hoy el corazón del PROTEC Q18:

Dos slide-outs se extienden 60 cm a cada lado a lo largo de toda la carrocería.
¿El resultado?
De 2,30 m de anchura durante la conducción se pasa a unos impresionantes 3,50 m de anchura habitable una vez estacionado: nada menos que 1,20 m de espacio adicional.
Así se crean alrededor de 18 m² de lujoso espacio habitable en una autocaravana que sigue siendo:
de menos de 8 m de longitud
con un peso total inferior a 7,5 t
y sorprendentemente compacta en carretera.
Para nosotros, este es el verdadero lujo del Q18: no se trata simplemente de construir más grande, sino de crear espacio de forma inteligente.
