What a week. What a way to start our Formula Student season. 🇨🇿🏁
Our first competition of the season didn’t quite unfold the way we had hoped. A few technical challenges early in the event meant that we couldn’t show our potential in the Driverless disciplines and had to adapt our plans throughout the week. Still, the team kept working, solving problems, and making improvements day by day.
One of the highlights was Acceleration, where we achieved 3rd place with a time of 3.54 s - a result that showed what our car is capable of when everything comes together.
Alongside the dynamic events, we successfully completed scrutineering and received valuable feedback in the static disciplines:
⚙️ Engineering Design: 109.1 points
💰 Cost & Manufacturing: 80.4 points
💼 Business Plan: 42.5 points
On the final day, we successfully completed Endurance, 22 laps including the mandatory driver change, with a total time of 26:53.75 and a best lap of 1:07.49. Unfortunately, a post-scrutineering issue resulted in a disqualification, meaning the result did not count in the final standings. While that was disappointing, finishing the race itself gave us valuable input and confirmed that the car can perform over the full distance.
Every competition comes with lessons to learn, and Formula Student Czech was no exception. We leave with plenty of experience and even more motivation for what’s ahead.
A big thank you to our sponsors, supporters, volunteers, judges, and everyone who made this event possible. Now it’s time to take what we’ve learned, keep improving, and get ready for FSS | Formula Student Spain . 🇪🇸
