Becoming… a Pioneer

As a Software Function Developer, I help bring new driving concepts to life.
From simulations to testing on test benches and in vehicles, my work focuses on turning innovative ideas into real software solutions for future mobility.
One of my career highlights was the commissioning of a prototype vehicle. Another unforgettable experience was travelling to Sweden to test new concepts on frozen lakes. Seeing innovative ideas prove themselves in real driving conditions was truly special.

What excites me most is the potential of AI and virtual sensors to shape the next generation of vehicle development. And I am grateful to be part of a highly motivated team. The combination of a strong heritage, continuous innovation and great colleagues is what makes me proud to be part of Mercedes-Benz.

Outside of work, staying active is important to me, whether that’s going for a walk, training in the gym or spending time with family and friends.

Becoming… Exceptional

A day that brings international top talents together and makes the purpose of Inspire truly tangible.

Within the international talent programme Inspire at Mercedes-Benz, exchange and development take centre stage – and this was clearly reflected at our Onboarding event. The day focused on connecting & bonding, expectation exchange and valuable insights into business areas as well as the Inspire programme itself.

A particular highlight was meeting the current Inspire top talents, who support the new generation during their onboarding.

Another key moment was the dialogue with Britta Seeger, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz. The dialogue was about impact and initiative, a winning attitude and personal career opportunities.

The event clearly demonstrated what Inspire stands for: international collaboration, shared learning and the opportunity to grow individually. New perspectives, valuable connections and a strong sense of community extend far beyond the day itself.

Becoming… a Creator

What if you could help people stay productive on the move while making every interaction inside the vehicle feel more natural? That is exactly what motivates me every day.

I’m Luiza, a Product Manager for Productivity Apps at Mercedes-Benz. I work on digital experiences that help customers manage everyday tasks more intuitively, from voice-based email replies to joining video conferences and capturing notes. What started as an internship at Mercedes-Benz in Bremen ultimately led me back to the company, where I now contribute to shaping the future of digital in-car experiences.

One of the most exciting parts of my job is working on the latest innovations. Right now, we are integrating Generative AI into our productivity apps to create more personalised and intuitive user journeys.

Mercedes-Benz combines a legacy of excellence with a forward-looking technology mindset. For me, it is inspiring to be part of a company that continuously drives innovation and adapts to evolving customer expectations.

Becoming… a Creator

Every day, I help make sure ideas become reality on the road.
I work as a Project Leader in the development department , responsible for the VLE long-wheel base version and the upcoming VLS. My role is simple to explain but complex to deliver. I steer development so that all contributions come together as one vehicle that meets our targets for timing, cost, quality and safety.

My journey started as a dual student in vehicle engineering, with deployments across development and after-sales. Since 2025, I have been shaping projects in the VAN environment, building on years of hands-on responsibility.

A highlight of my work is the new VLS. To me, it feels like a show car brought to life – not a one-off concept, but a new benchmark for luxury vehicles in series production. It’s the most exciting project I’ve worked on so far, because it combines innovation, complexity and real customer impact.

In my daily work, I coordinate late changes with logistics and production, align seat development with suppliers across regions, and bring stakeholders together at key decision points.

Becoming… a Pioneer

What does it feel like to help shape the software behind the future of electric mobility?

I’m Malgorzata, a high-voltage battery software coordinator at Mercedes-Benz. In my role, I connect different teams across specialist areas and work closely with colleagues in India and China. Together, we keep the software development status clear, visible and on track.

My journey with Mercedes-Benz started long before this role. After an international school exchange and a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum, I knew: this is where I wanted to build my future.

One of my biggest career highlights was my former role in high-voltage battery development. I supported two high-voltage batteries on their journey from early development to market launch. Seeing that work later on the road is something very special.

What makes me proud? Being part of the shift toward electric mobility. High-voltage battery software is key to sustainable mobility, and I get to contribute to that every day.

AI Week @ Vocational Training

What happens when curiosity meets technology?

A week full of discovery, inspiration and hands-on experiences. During AI Week, -Benz apprentices explored how artificial intelligence is already transforming everyday work.

Through inspiring conversations, live demonstrations and practical examples, participants explored AI applications, challenged assumptions and discovered new ways of working. AI became more than just a buzzword. It became something they could experience firsthand and apply in their daily work.

One thing quickly became clear: AI is already helping people work smarter, save time and approach tasks in new ways. A week filled with insights, fresh ideas and plenty of aha moments. And this is only the beginning.

Becoming… an Enabler.

I turn learning into something people actually use – helping knowledge reach my colleagues where it matters most: in everyday work.

I’m Gül, Marketing and Communication Manager for Learning Governance at Mercedes Benz. I connect learning, communication and new technologies to make development simple and accessible for my colleagues. My journey at Mercedes-Benz started early – through internships and first hands-on experiences. Today, I work on making learning visible and meaningful across the company.

One of my highlights was building an AI-based learning agent. Seeing an idea grow into a solution that truly supports colleagues is powerful. Technology can make learning not only faster, but also more personal and easier to access.

What makes my job special for me is the connection between tradition and future. My family has been part of Mercedes Benz for generations – and today I contribute to shaping what’s next.
