Toyota Land Cruiser 78 Troop Carrier.

Few vehicles have earned a reputation like the Troopy.

From remote Australian tracks to African safaris and humanitarian missions, the 78 Series has spent decades proving why simplicity and reliability still matter.

One of the things that makes the Troop Carrier unique is the variety of engines it has carried over the years. Depending on the market and production period, buyers could find everything from the legendary naturally aspirated 1HZ diesel to the powerful 1VD-FTV V8, the 1GR-FE petrol V6, and today's 1GD-FTV turbo diesel.

This poster brings together the classic overland build along with the major engine options that have powered the Land Cruiser 78 around the world.

Which engine would you choose for your own Troopy?

• 1HZ
• 1VD-FTV
• 1GR-FE
• 1GD-FTV
