Diamond Atelier

Diamond Atelier Diamond Atelier. Custom Motorcycle & Lifestyle Brand. Munich - Germany. There had to be more than the existing monotonous and repetitive custom scene.

One night in July, 2013 – Cruising through the empty streets of downtown Munich like on any regular summer night, we approach the city’s biker hangout. With the familiar smell of gasoline in the air also comes the well-known selection of local customized bikes we have all seen so many times before. With most “custom“ parts being bought from catalogues and not hand-build, the majority of these moto

rcycles look like they rolled off the same Cafe Racer production line. What it needed was fresh ideas, unique styles and never before seen creations. – But we sure knew, that just another workshop wouldn’t cut it. It strived for a whole new mindset;
Young entrants in an old-established niché;
The next generation of Cafe Racers. That summer night, Diamond Atelier was born.

A HYPERBIKE WAS NEVER MEANT TO EXIST ONLY IN STILL FRAMES.

This is DA #22 — ULTRON, brought to life.

More than 205 hp. Over 800 hours of hand-shaped aluminium bodywork. A voltage-activated electroluminescent paint system integrated directly into the surface of the machine.

Not a concept.
Not a static showpiece.
A running, road-legal prototype — and the first physical expression of the Diamond Atelier Hyperbike.

Form becomes light.
Engineering becomes emotion.
ULTRON becomes alive.

POWER CREATES SPEED. CONTROL CREATES CONFIDENCE.

The DA #22 HYPERBIKE was never designed to be admired only at standstill. Its performance had to feel precise, composed and instinctive from the rider’s seat.

Together with , we developed a bespoke rear shock specifically for this motorcycle, paired with a specially tuned TYPE 46 RR front fork carrying World Superbike DNA.

The objective was not uncompromising stiffness. It was complete control: stability under acceleration, support under braking and the feedback required to make extreme performance feel natural rather than intimidating.

Because a Hyperbike should not only look beyond convention. It should ride beyond it.

Munich vision. Bologna precision.

On DA #22, every point of interaction had to feel as deliberate as the bodywork surrounding it.

Working from Diamond Atelier’s design direction, created the CNC-machined Formula One-style switchgear and the glass-windowed, illuminated clutch cover — turning control and mechanical movement into part of the Hyperbike’s visual language.

The result is not decoration. It is an interface that feels precise before the engine even fires, then reveals another layer of the machine when it does.

This is what true collaboration means to us: not simply supplying components, but understanding the idea deeply enough to push it further.

THIS IS NOT CGI.
THIS IS NOT ADDED IN POST.

What you’re looking at is real electroluminescent paint.

Instead of adding light to the motorcycle, we integrated light into its surface. When voltage is applied, the coating itself emits light, transforming the bodywork into an illuminated structure.

No LED strips.
No illuminated acrylic.
No digital effects.

Bringing this technology to life required months of development, testing and refinement. Together with , every layer was engineered to merge craftsmanship with innovation until the bodywork itself became the light source.

Everything you see in these images happened in front of the camera.
Not on a computer.

Special thanks to for bringing this vision to life.

THE FACE OF THE HYPERBIKE.

DA #22 — ULTRON was designed to be recognised before its full silhouette appears.

From the front, the entire concept is reduced to a precise visual code: a circular light signature, radically narrow proportions and illuminated, hand-shaped aluminium surfaces framing the machine’s centreline.

Nothing is added for decoration.
The light defines the architecture.
The architecture defines the identity.

A front view that belongs to no existing motorcycle category.

DA #22 — ULTRON.
Recognisable in a single glance.

THE MOTORCYCLE WORLD HAD NO HYPERCAR EQUIVALENT.
UNTIL NOW.

Introducing DA #22 — ULTRON: the first physical expression of a new category — the Hyperbike.

Unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, DA #22 is a running, road-legal prototype, hand-built in Munich to explore what a motorcycle can become when design, engineering, craftsmanship and material ex*****on are pushed into one uncompromising machine.

More than 205 hp. Hand-shaped aluminium bodywork. A voltage-activated electroluminescent paint system that turns the motorcycle’s skin itself into light.

Only one litre of this exact red formulation was ever created. Every drop was used on DA #22. It will never be repeated.

Not another superbike.
The beginning of the Hyperbike.
