Neuigkeiten zu unserem Treffen. Diesesmal wird der Einser Renn Capri, der seit 2005 ein ständiger Gast bei uns war, nicht beim Treffen anwesend sein. Warum?
Ford ist es nicht mehr wichtig, auf Capri-Treffen Präsenz zu zeigen. Aussage der "Neuen" Verantwortlichen in Köln. "Was haben wir für einen Nutzen davon?"
Wir möchten uns ausdrücklich bei Wolfgang Laufer bedanken, der seit 2005 auf jedem Treffen von uns zugegen war, der es immer mit großem Engagement geschafft hat den Capri nach Speyer zu bringen. Nur dieses Mal lief er gegen geschlossene Türen und konnte keinen Verantwortlichen bei Ford dazu bringen, die Entscheidung zu treffen, dass der Capri wieder nach Speyer kommt.
Und gerade jetzt, hätte Ford was davon... Eine größere Bühne für das neue Abfallprodukt "Elektro Capri" bekommt Ford nie wieder so günstig.
Vor 2005 hatte Ford schon einmal kein Interesse an Ihren alten Schätzchen. Erst mit der Sonderausstellung 80 Jahre Ford in Speyer konnten wir Ford vom Gegenteil überzeugen. Die Marketing Abteilung war von dieser besonderen Art der Werbung sehr angetan und hat uns bis 2022 unterstützt. Immer dabei, Wolfgang Laufer der sich in unserer Fan Gemeinde sehr wohl gefühlt hat.
Liebe Chef Etage der Ford Werke Köln. Ihr seit gerade im Begriff den Laden voll an die Wand zu fahren - mit Nichts tun und aussitzen in der Chef Etage. Leid tun uns nur die vielen Mitarbeiter die lange Zeit für Ford tolle Autos gebaut haben - die schickt ihr sehenden Auges mit in den Abgrund. Nehmt Euch ein Vorbild an Euren Vorgängern, die hatten noch Eier in der Hose.

We’d like to express our sincere thanks to Wolfgang Laufer, who has been with us at every meet since 2005 and who, with great dedication, always managed to bring the Capri to Speyer. Only this time, he ran into closed doors and couldn’t get anyone in charge at Ford to make the decision to bring the Capri back to Speyer.
And right now, Ford would actually benefit from it… Ford will never again get such a great opportunity to showcase its new “Electric Capri” on such a big stage.
Before 2005, Ford had already shown no interest in its old treasures. It wasn’t until the special exhibition “80 Years of Ford” in Speyer that we were able to convince Ford otherwise. The marketing department was very impressed by this unique form of advertising and supported us through 2022. Always there was Wolfgang Laufer, who felt right at home in our fan community.
Dear executives at the Ford plant in Cologne. You’re currently in the process of running the company straight into the ground—by doing nothing and sitting on your hands up there in the executive suite. We only feel sorry for the many employees who have spent so long building great cars for Ford—you’re knowingly sending them into the abyss. Take a cue from your predecessors; they still had some guts.
