Is your Smart Fortwo or Roadster running hot? 🌡️

Normal operating temperature on these cars sits around 88-90°C. If yours is sitting low around 70°C or climbing fast past 100°C, there's a good chance your thermostat has failed.

This actually happened to me — my Smart started overheating and the thermostat was the culprit. It's a cheap part, but it's notoriously difficult to access — most guides tell you to drop the engine just to reach it.

In my latest video (link in comment), I show you how to replace it WITHOUT dropping the engine, on both the Fortwo 450 and Roadster 452. Saves a ton of time and hassle.

When I bought this blue Smart Roadster, I knew it had problems. But one of the biggest was the roof — the soft top that simply wouldn't open. At all.

The previous owner told me straight away that the electric roof was dead. His electrician had disconnected every single roof connector just to be safe?!

And we all know — the whole point of the Roadster is that roof dropping at the touch of a button. Without it, it's just not the same car.

🔧 Is your Smart Fortwo or Roadster fuel cap hanging loose — or already missing?

The original rubber retention cord dries out and snaps with age. It's one of those small things you ignore until the cap is gone completely!

I just uploaded a full video showing exactly how to replace it with a cheap AliExpress part that fits perfectly. 5 minute job, costs almost nothing.
