FOR SALE: Original BMW M3 E30 Sport Evolution interior

All original Sport Evolution interior in 0316 Anthracite Motorsport Design.

The set includes both original Sport Evolution Recaro seats with height-adjustable consoles, rear seat, door panels, rear side panels, red seat belts, M-Technic steering wheel and handbrake grip.

The condition is very good. No worn-through fabric, the M colours are still strong and the panels are free from cracks.

There is also an interesting story behind the different Sport Evolution interiors. Of the 600 cars built, 318 were fitted with 0316 Anthracite Motorsport Design, 280 with black leather and just two cars were recorded with 9990 Special Upholstery.

Finished in Diamond Black Metallic, the car presents beautifully inside and out. The leather interior is remarkably well preserved, while the body and paintwork are in excellent condition with no visible rust at the typical E30 weak points.

At the heart of the car is its 2.5-litre S14 with airbox, rated at 238 hp, combined with a Sport Evolution exhaust system.

This unique BMW E46 race car was built on a brand-new shell using original BMW E36 320i STW components in 1994/1995 specification. The project was originally intended for the VLN 2.0L class at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and completed to an uncompromising standard — but never actually raced after completion.

Powered by the legendary BMW Motorsport S42B20 engine and paired with a Hollinger sequential gearbox with magnesium gearbox housing, the car also includes original BMW Motorsport ECU 4A electronics, PI Motorsport dashboard, Brembo brakes, 3-piece BBS Motorsport wheels etc.

The entire technical package has only completed approximately 500 km of dyno and test bench runtime since the build was finished.

An incredibly rare opportunity to acquire a professionally built, never-raced STW-inspired BMW with authentic period Motorsport components and a development budget of several hundred thousand euros.
