If you are going to do one hike during your holiday in Paphos, make it this one: the Aphrodite and Adonis Trail Loop.
Park at the main public parking area beside the Baths of Aphrodite and the Akamas Botanical Garden, where the trail begins.
The loop is approximately 7.5 km and takes around 3 hours to complete. It is moderately challenging, with rocky ground, steady climbs, steep sections and very little shade.
Before setting off, make sure you have:
🥾 Hiking shoes with good grip
💧 Plenty of water per person, and more during summer
☀️ Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat
🍎 A light snack
📱 A fully charged phone with an offline map
After the hike comes the reward: Moutti tis Sotiras and a breathtaking panorama across the wild Akamas coastline, and the deep blue Mediterranean. It is a view you will remember long after your holiday ends.
Some views should be earned.
