Final touches on Nireas at our home Ayia Napa Marina Cyprus - before we set sail for Greece and the AEGEAN 600 regatta!

The highlight of this refit is a brand new carbon radar mast mounted on the stern. Lightweight, strong, and ready for whatever the Aegean throws at us. 💪

Big thanks to the incredible team at Ayia Napa Marina boatyard for their support and expertise! and a huge shoutout to our Cypriot crew who put in the hard work to get Nireas race-ready. You’re the best! 🇨🇾🙏

We’ve just wrapped up another training session ⛵️

This time, the conditions were not on our side. Wind exceeded 65 knots, and the waves were challenging even in the harbor. Safety came first, so we had limited time on the water to minimum.

We used the rest of the time for intensive theory, building solid foundations that truly translate into better performance on the water.

We’ll make up for the sailing in better conditions, stronger and better prepared 💪

A perfect opportunity to kick off the spring sailing season on the Mediterranean Sea.

During this intensive week we focus on:
- racing yacht handling
- sail trim and maneuvers
- race tactics and communication on board
- efficient teamwork and performance sailing

After the creative phase of “mouse + vision,” it was time for real engineering.
We’re now working with true professionals, people who replace “ctrl+z” with structural calculations, offshore experience, and steel.

The result?
Our radar frame project has reached a level where form meets function, and aesthetics go hand in hand with safety. This is no longer a kindergarten-style visualization, it’s a real structure that increases navigational safety, improves situational awareness, and gives us an edge where seconds and miles truly matter.

The 2026 season is shaping up to be intense. Preparations are in full swing, and our first major challenge will be the legendary AEGEAN 600 - demanding miles across the Aegean Sea. Out there, there’s no such thing as an “optional curve.”

This project is another step in the professionalization of our racing program.
Better systems = greater safety = more power to push when it really counts.

21st-century engineering?
This time, no “undo.” Just “save,” “cut in steel,” and “see you at the starting line.” ⛵🔥

Po kreatywnym etapie „myszka + wizja” przyszedł czas na twardą inżynierię.
Dziś pracujemy już z prawdziwymi profesjonalistami, ludźmi, którzy zamiast „ctrl+z” mają obliczenia MES, doświadczenie offshore i stal.

Efekt?
Projekt ramy pod radar wszedł na poziom, w którym forma spotyka funkcję, a estetyka nie kłóci się z bezpieczeństwem. To nie jest już wizualizacja z przedszkola, to realna konstrukcja, która zwiększa bezpieczeństwo żeglugi, poprawia widoczność sytuacyjną i daje nam przewagę tam, gdzie liczą się sekundy i mile.

Sezon 2026 zapowiada się intensywnie. Przygotowania idą pełną parą, a pierwszym dużym sprawdzianem będą legendarne regaty AEGEAN 600 - 600 mil wymagającej trasy po Morzu Egejskim. Tam nie ma miejsca na „opcjonalnie krzywą linię”.

Ten projekt to kolejny krok w profesjonalizacji naszego programu regatowego.
Lepsze systemy = większe bezpieczeństwo = więcej mocy, żeby cisnąć wtedy, kiedy trzeba.

Inżynieria XXI wieku?
Tym razem bez „cofnij”. Tylko „zapisz”, „wytnij w stali” i „widzimy się na starcie”. ⛵🔥
