DAT is an acronym of the names of the business partners: Kenjiro Den ( Den Kenjiro ) , Rokuro Aoyama (Aoyama Rokuro ) and Meitaro Takeuchi ( Takeuchi Meitarō ) . In 1918 Kwaishinisha Motorcar Works was renamed in Kwaishinisha Motorcar Works Co. and in 1925 in DAT Motorcar Co. The following year, a merger took place with ' Jitsuyo Jidosha Co. , a company from Osaka. In 1931 the first Datson was pro
duced , this was named by the Son of DAT. Later this name would be changed to Datsun because son in Japanese means a loss. Two years later the company moved to Yokohama and the named it Nissan Motor Company. In the same year they presents the Datsun Nissanocar .
