🎣🐟 mahi mahi adventure! 🐟🎣
today we had an incredible day on the water catching mahi mahi, one of the most colorful and fast-growing fish in the ocean. also known as dorado or dolphinfish, mahi mahi are prized for their lean, flavorful meat and their incredible fight when hooked — making them a favorite for sport fishermen.

after reeling them in, we cleaned and filleted each fish and weighed them, noting how quickly they grow — some can reach up to 40 pounds in just a year! from their striking golden and blue colors to their impressive speed, mahi mahi are truly a marvel of the open sea. 🌊✨

catching, cleaning, and weighing them gives you a full appreciation of both their beauty and their culinary value. 🐠⚖️

Known for their insane speed (up to 60 mph!), wahoo are one of the fastest fish in the ocean — and landing one is no small feat. Their razor-sharp teeth and aggressive strikes make them a top target for offshore anglers.

Caught this beauty trolling deep water structure with high-speed lures — pro tip: wire leader is a must or you’ll lose your gear in seconds. 💯

One of the best-eating pelagics out there — mild, firm, and perfect for grilling or sashimi.
