UPDATE OVER OPSTAPPLEK JAN THIEL

Lieve Powerboat klanten,

Helaas hebben wij deze week te horen gekregen dat we per direct geen gasten meer mogen ophalen bij Zanzibar Beach & Restaurant op Jan Thiel Beach. We willen graag benadrukken dat dit niet bij Zanzibar vandaan komt maar van de eigenaar van het gebied (APC).
Als reden wordt gegeven dat het gevaarlijk is voor een powerboat om mensen op te halen bij de steiger 🙄 Terwijl wij altijd super rustig in de baai varen, nooit daar ongelukken hebben gehad en altijd een uitkijk op de punt hebben staan om goed naar zwemmers en duikers te kijken 🙏🏽 We worden door APC vergeleken met de jetski's die hard in de baai varen.. Zeer bijzonder allemaal en we gaan uiteraard ons best doen om de opstapplek die wij al meer dan 10 jaar (!) gebruiken terug te krijgen.

Maar waar één deur sluit, opent een andere.. We hebben een hele leuke nieuwe ophaalplek gevonden bij Surfspot Curaçao. Ingmar Schnitzler en Hilde Tuinbeek, masha danki 🙏🏼
Surfspot Curaçao (ook wel bekend als Windsurfing Curaçao) zit aan het Spaanse Water, 5 minuten van Zanzibar (met de auto) en vlakbij de rotonde van de Caracasbaaiweg.

Vanaf 1 juni is onze nieuwe opstapplek in Jan Thiel dus bij Surfspot Curaçao.

Parkeren kan gratis op het terrein. Zoals overal op Curaçao wijzen we er nog even op dat je beter geen spullen in je auto kunt laten liggen.
