SHACMAN has successfully held the handover ceremony for the first batch of X3000 8×4 CNG heavy trucks in a coastal city in East Africa.

The delivery also includes H3000S tractors and H3000S dump trucks, bringing more efficient transport solutions to the local market.

Designed specifically for East Africa’s right-hand-drive market, the SHACMAN X3000 CNG truck helps customers reduce daily fuel costs by taking advantage of the region’s lower natural gas prices.

Moving oversized wind turbine blades through the steep, winding roads of Southeast Asia demands serious power, control, and precision.

The SHACMAN X5000, powered by a 660 hp M15 engine delivering 3,200 N·m of torque, takes on the challenge with a three-stage braking system, hub-reduction axle, and heavy-haul capability.

For the steepest climbs, three X5000 tractors worked together, pulling the 180-tonne combination safely through demanding terrain.

The SHACMAN X5000e pure‑electric heavy truck has officially debuted in Vientiane, Laos—marking a major step forward for green mobility in the Mekong region.
Over 160 guests from government, industry, finance, and key customer groups joined the launch and witnessed the region’s push toward transport electrification.

With high fuel prices, abundant power, and rising carbon pressure, the X5000e arrives at the perfect moment. Powered by Jizhi E‑drive technology, it delivers 580 kW peak power, 3,000 N·m torque, and a 400–600 kWh swappable battery—ideal for aggregates, cement, mining, and port drayage.

SHACMAN is also partnering with local banks and insurers to offer a full “purchase + finance + insurance + maintenance” package, helping fleets buy affordably, run reliably, and resell with confidence.

The aluminum industry in the Indochina Peninsula is booming — and XL Company has been part of that journey for decades. From bauxite mining to alumina export, one thing keeps the entire chain moving: trucks.

In 2023, XL ran over 100 dump trucks between the mine and refinery, but strict local regulations meant their 6×4 trucks could only haul about 10 tons each trip. Larger 70‑tonne mining trucks were too bulky for the tight on‑site roads. Everything changed in late 2024 when SHACMAN engineers arrived on‑site and designed a solution tailored to XL’s real operating conditions.

The team introduced a 50‑tonne offset‑cab mining dump truck — powerful 420‑hp engine, mining‑grade tires, triple‑layer frame, and excellent maneuverability. The first five prototypes impressed immediately, and XL placed a follow‑up order for 50 more.

Once the bauxite becomes alumina, tractors haul it 200 km to the port. But GCW limits meant XL’s existing fleet could only carry 34 bags per trip. SHACMAN responded with the lightweight X5000 tractor, raising payload to 36 bags and adding US$5,400 annual revenue per vehicle. Fuel consumption dropped to just 30.5 L/100 km, saving 9 L compared to mainstream competitors — and the I‑Brake system handled steep downhill sections with ease.

As one XL executive said: “I never expected SHACMAN’s customization could reach this level. The vehicles fit our real‑world conditions perfectly.”
