NEUES PRODUKT | CUSTOM FAN SHROUD

Hier ist das neueste Produkt aus meiner Werkstatt – ein kleines Nebenprojekt mit individuellem Anspruch!

Vor Kurzem kam ein sehr netter Kunde aus den Niederlanden auf mich zu und fragte, ob ich eine Lüfterzarge nach seinen persönlichen Vorstellungen anfertigen könnte.

Bei der Umsetzung setze ich auf mein seit Jahren bewährtes und effizientes Konzept: eine möglichst gut verschlossene Konstruktion mit ausreichend Volumen, damit die Luft über die gesamte Kühlerfläche gleichmäßig zu den beiden saugenden Lüftern strömen kann. Das Ganze natürlich mit dem Ziel, ein möglichst kompaktes und funktionales Setup zu realisieren.

Die kundenspezifischen Anforderungen bei diesem Projekt:
-Beide Lüfter sollten weiter oben positioniert werden.
-Die Montage sollte als Plug-and-Play-Lösung erfolgen.
-Keine zusätzlichen Schweißarbeiten an der Lüfterzarge direkt am Kühler.

Das Ergebnis ist eine individuell entwickelte Lösung, die bewährte Funktionalität mit den spezifischen Anforderungen des Kunden verbindet.

NEW PRODUCT | CUSTOM FAN SHROUD

Here’s the latest addition from my workshop – a small side project with a custom approach!

Recently, a very nice customer from the Netherlands reached out to me to ask if I could manufacture a fan shroud tailored to his specific requirements.

For this project, I’m sticking to my proven and efficient design concept that I’ve been using successfully for years: a well-sealed shroud with sufficient internal volume to allow air to flow evenly across the entire radiator core and towards the two puller fans. All while keeping the overall package as compact and functional as possible.

The customer had a few additional requirements:
-Both fans needed to be positioned further up.
-The setup had to be a plug-and-play solution.
-No welding the fan shroud directly onto the radiator.

The result is a custom-engineered solution that combines a proven design with the customer’s individual requirements.

Another small side project!

This time, I was asked to design and manufacture a set of rear camber plates.

For this concept, the main focus was on keeping the components as discreet and compact as possible. The goal was to create a slim design that integrates cleanly into the existing setup without drawing unnecessary attention.

At the same time, the design allows for approximately -1° of negative camber per wheel on the rear axle.

A small component, but one that can make a noticeable difference when it comes to chassis setup and handling.

A little side project!

A short while ago, I was asked if I could design and build a custom fan shroud for a customer.

The project is for a Corsa that has been converted to a 2.0L turbo engine. With very limited space available, the entire cooling system is a major challenge when it comes to keeping temperatures under control.

That’s why it’s especially important to ensure that the air pulled through the entire radiator surface is distributed and drawn in as evenly and efficiently as possible. The fan shroud plays a key role in achieving this.

Another challenge was that the customer doesn’t have access to a welding machine, so the shroud had to be designed to mount using the original mounting points on the radiator, without requiring any additional modifications.

🇩🇪Ein Kapitel geht zu Ende. 🏁

Vor über fünf Jahren habe ich mit der Entwicklung meines Klimaentfernungskits begonnen. Seitdem durfte ich über 100 dieser Kits fertigen und an Kunden aus der Community ausliefern.

An dieser Stelle möchte ich einfach einmal Danke sagen – an alle, die mir ihr Vertrauen geschenkt, meine Arbeit unterstützt und damit weitere Projekte und Entwicklungen von Mottura Motorsport & Engineering ermöglicht haben. Ohne diese Unterstützung wäre vieles davon nicht möglich gewesen.

Was mich dabei besonders freut: Von über 100 verkauften Klimaentfernungskits gab es bis heute keinen einzigen Ausfall. Für mich ist das nicht nur eine schöne Zahl, sondern vor allem eine Bestätigung für den Anspruch, den ich an meine eigenen Produkte und deren Qualität stelle.

Nun geht dieses Projekt langsam zu Ende. Es sind nur noch die letzten 5 Klimaentfernungskits verfügbar. Danach wird es keine weitere Produktion dieses Kits geben.

Wer also noch Teil dieses Projekts werden möchte, hat jetzt die letzte Gelegenheit dazu.

🇬🇧One chapter is coming to an end. 🏁

More than five years ago, I started developing my A/C delete kit. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of manufacturing and delivering more than 100 of these kits to customers within the community.

At this point, I simply want to say thank you — to everyone who put their trust in me, supported my work, and helped make further projects and developments at Mottura Motorsport & Engineering possible. Without your support, many of these projects would not have been possible.

What makes me especially proud: Out of more than 100 A/C delete kits sold, there hasn’t been a single failure to date. To me, this is more than just a nice number — it’s a confirmation of the standards I set for my own products and their quality.

Now, this project is slowly coming to an end. Only the final 5 A/C delete kits are still available. After that, there will be no further production of this kit.

So, if you still want to be part of this project, this is your last opportunity.

🇩🇪Kleiner Auftrag für Nebenbei:

Vor kurzem erhielt ich die Anfrage, ob ich eine Lüfterzarge konstruieren kann, die ein Lüfter nach Wunschmass aufnehmen und an den Kühler, ohne Schweissarbeiten befestigt werden kann.

Das Konzept und das Design wurde erstellt, anschliessend mit dem Auftraggeber besprochen und nun ist das finale Produkt fertig und versandbereit.

I recently received a request to design a fan shroud that could accommodate a custom-sized fan and mount to the radiator without any welding.

I developed the concept and design, discussed them with the client, and the final product is now complete and ready to ship.
