Best Documented Car in Show Lugano Elegance 2025.

1951 Ferrari 212 Vignale.

Such a great car and awesome owners. Congratulations! Thank you very much for bringing along such a nice car and excellent documentation.

This year the competition was super intense with the top three cars within 1,5 points!

Thanks for the excellent organisation. It was great fun. Looking forward 2026!

We are leaving behind a year which we have a lot to be grateful for. As always we have been around awesome people, car fans but also friends who have been supporting us and made every step forward a bit easier.

We close the the year with 2,260 cars registered exceeding 65,000 documents.

We cheer for awesome 2025. To grow and preserve cars history together.

Meet the 2024 “Best Documented Car in Show” at the Luzern Concours d’ Excellence International - the 1938 SS100! Discovered as a true barn find by Terry Larson in 2017, this remarkable classic had been in the same family’s custody for 40 years.

Delivered in March 1938, this SS100 was actively raced by its first owner until WWII interrupted. After resuming the road in 1946, it made its way to the USA in 1957, where it remained untouched until Terry Larson’s find.

The car’s complete ownership and history are backed by traceable documents from the period, a rare feat for a pre-war
vehicle.

As the last unrestored SS100 in existence, this classic beauty will maintain its original condition. With all mechanics in perfect working order, it stands as an excellent driver.

The owner, just one year older than the car itself, drove both from Zurich to Luzern and back to attend the Concours. A true testament to passion and dedication in preserving automotive history!

Tomorrow will be a face-off battle at the Luzerne Concours d’ Excellence International.

The Motor Chain team will have the privilege to judge the history and documentation of these two very significant cars. Royalty!

In one corner....yes she is! the 2024 Pebble Beach’s overall winner, 1934 Bugatti Type 59.

The first ever non-restored and pre-war car to win the most prestigious concours.

In front she will have the last unrestored SS100 in existence, built in 1938. Spectacular car, a truly barn find discovered by Terry Larson in 2017 after 40 years in same family ownership.

Its going to be a LOT of fun

One year ago we had the privilege of registering the Lister Maserati in TMC and preserve her rich and nice history.

We cannot wait to see her racing at Madgwick Cup this weekend. This is the schedule:

Qualifying on Friday at 14.10 CET
Race on Saturday at 16.25 CET

We wish all the luck and fun to and the driver Many thanks for looking after her.

The winner of the Best Documented Car in Show! At the 2024 Zürich Classic Car Award.

This 1953 Aston Martin DB2 won our special pride thanks to it's extensive and comprenhensive documentation.

71 years in the same family. She was the daily drive of current owner's father.

Big congratulations to owner and his family.

From here we would to thank the Jury for their great job and commitment. So proud to have you on board.

Swiss Classic World in Luzerne is next for TMC ❤️🏁

This year we are teaming up with two of our partners and certified garages.

Walter Historische Sport Wagen is the garage to go for your high end italian sport cars. They will bring a Dino 246 which is undergoing a tastefully restoration, and its engine!

Is the one and only classic car garage in downtown Zürich. Where you can not only maintain and detail your classic but also host your company events. It is also the home of TMC in Zürich, where we host the Car History Garage Afterwork Aperos.

We will bring our digital library full of classic cars with amazing history, and a sample of real documents to show you how to better preserve and organize your cars' documentation.

Some impresions of yesterday public viewing in Villa Erba.

We had great fun meeting clients and making new connections for the 2025 plans we are alredy working on.

The event was quite successful with excess 12,000 people attending. Big kudos to all cars' owners who remained the whole day beside their autos attending every single question and cracking the engines upon request.

Greatest news was the Best in Show winner. A beautifully in PRESERVED condition Alfa Romeo 8C got the apreciation of the Jury. We salute this decision with the hope it will help with switching the scene towards better preservation of history versus over-restotarions.

Moreover, we would like to point out the age of the owner winner, just 26 years old. Our most sincere congratulations. Count on our support to help your generation fellows jumping into our passionate hobby.

The 1966 Ferrari 330 GT Series II has its history preserved and documented with us since 2020.

The just 2nd owners from new in "Time Capsule" condition 1968 Chevrolet Camaro has been recently registered by his owner .bernasconi.77 during his visit to The Car History Garage

Te enseñaremos la importancia de documentar la historia de tu coche y como hacerlo para aumentar el valor de tu coche hasta un 20%.

Podras disfrutar de la historia de algunos coches muy significativos como el primer E-type que se mostró al público en el Salón de Ginebra de 1961 o un Abarth Zagato 750 Corsa que perteneció al mismo Carlo Abarth.
