Keeping the retro soul alive. 📼✨
The Pioneer SXT-C10PS is probably one of the cleanest modern head units ever made for classic cars. Vintage look, physical buttons, cassette-style design — almost perfect for any oldtimer or retro build.
There was just one thing bothering me:
the front USB port ruins the nostalgic dashboard aesthetic when a USB stick is plugged in. 👀
So I decided to modify it.
I soldered in a custom rear USB extension, allowing the USB stick to stay hidden inside the glovebox while keeping the original retro look untouched from the driver’s seat. 🔧⚡️
OEM+ vibes.
Modern functionality.
1980s atmosphere preserved. 😎
