Annoying oil stains in the home garage of this 1977 Alfetta 1.6 leaded to dismantling of the engine where we found (thank god) a serious issue often found in Alfa nord engines: the oilway plug left its seat on the crankshaft and could be removed by hand! If this would have happened while driving you will get an internal oil leak leading to zero oil pressure. If recognized too late this beautiful engine would have suffered🥺 Always keep an eye on your oil pressure gauge!

The MGB V8 performed really well on Hockenheimring surrounded by modern sports cars. On the last turn the gearbox didn‘t like the amount of torque coming from the 5.3 Rover V8 until third gear left the chat🫠Nonetheless we were super happy with the car and I also managed to get second fastest time in the slalom🏁
