Would You Sacrifice the RB Sound For 1JZ Reliability?

Broderik decided to go against the usual RB-powered Skyline formula, fitting a Toyota 1JZ with a Garrett G35-1050 68mm turbocharger, Kelford 272/278 camshafts, exhaust manifold, G4X Fury, Radium fuel system, and a custom 4-inch downpipe feeding a 3.5-inch exhaust from into his Nissan R34 sedan.

Even with a 1.01 A/R turbine housing, he's seeing 24 psi at 4,000 RPM! He's now planning to switch to a smaller 0.83 A/R housing while running the 1JZ, with a 2JZ bottom end planned for the future 🏁🚗💨

This 2018 BMW M140i xDrive from is running a Garrett G35-1050 with EWG kit, built engine, built transmission, upgraded torque converter, and stock camshafts, putting down 1064 hp and 1395 Nm of torque.
With data of it doing no prep 100–200 km/h in 3.73 seconds and a 9.26-second quarter-mile, showing what the G35-1050 can bring to a properly built B58-powered street package in a light compact hatchback with 1,475 kg (3200lbs)🏁🚗💨

Sometimes the SR's prove to be a perfect street combo! ’s S13 is running a Garrett G25-550 turbocharger on this SR20DET which has proved to be one of the best turbos for an SR20 in terms of response and power.

7.53 at 186 mph in the B58-powered A90 Supra, piloted by . The Garrett GXR45-80-equipped Supra took home the X58 Shootout win at and reset Jessel’s personal best with this car. We are so impressed by how far Jessel has come this year, and watching her knock down a 7.53 in such hot and humid conditions was a huge testament to both her driving and how well has prepared this build.

When your golf cart gets to the ball before it lands⛳

’s Harley-Davidson V-Rod–swapped golf cart has a Garrett GTX2867R Gen II squeezing more air to it, making around 200 horsepower with a standalone ECU and display keeping everything in check.

As if the V-Rod swap and turbo weren’t enough, it also has air ride for extra style points. Not exactly the usual place you expect to see a Garrett turbocharger, but as a trackside pit cruiser, this thing makes perfect sense in the most ridiculous way possible. 🏁🏍️💨

SOHC RB30's are still some very slept on engines that can make big power, and sound truly amazing. Ahmed’s Holden VL came through , and is now making 655.7 kW (879 WHP) to the rear wheels with a Garrett G40-1150 71mm twin-scroll setup.

The build list covers everything from the complete the fabrication package, intercooler piping, exhaust with AES valve, turbo hard lines, wastegate plumb back, converter adjustments, sensors, UC10 dash, B&M ratchet shifter, airbox, interior retrim, and final clearance checks to meet VASS requirements.

We love seeing these old-school Holden VL's with clean engine bays like this and making almost 900whp using Garrett G40-1150's 🏁🚗💨
