Mitsubishi has confirmed that the all-new Pajero, sold as the Montero in some markets, will make its debut later this year.

One of the most interesting details is the return of the iconic triple "Multi Meter" gauges, now reimagined in a fully digital format.

Just like the original system, the new display will provide off-road information such as altitude, compass direction, outside temperature, pitch and roll angles, and left-to-right torque distribution in real time.

Mitsubishi hasn't revealed exactly where the displays will be located, but they'll likely appear within the instrument cluster, infotainment screen, or on a dedicated display.

For longtime Pajero fans, it's a small detail that brings back one of the SUV's most recognizable features while giving it a modern twist.
