We love the older aircooled as well. What have we done? The request was a strong engine in the historical way. It should make fun on Susten- Pass, Grimsel and many others. The car is a great 911 2.2T . So we had to find more torque from lower rpm and a wide power band. Our way was to stroke the engine up to 70.40mm with a egmo modyfied steel crank with lightweigth egmo steel rods. Egmo modyfied cylinder heads. We used the S- cams and the S- headers. After some dyno hours and final adjustments, we got 228hp and 285nm from a 2.6ltr. with modyfied Weber 40IDA3C carburateurs. This will be funny in car with 900kg.
