Coffee Black came back on the chassis.
That is when 006 started to look like itself. Dark metal. Quiet shape. The paint is only a beginning, but it is the first moment the car has a face.
Inside, the cabin is already catching up. Mushroom fabric. The roofliner is in. Soft against a hard tub. The room is forming before the rest of the car even exists.
Then the door. Inner work. The parts nobody leads with. How it will close. Leather still waits in another color. Fabric holds the space for now.
The journey continues.

SUB1000 006 is back from paint. Coffee Black on the chassis. The first time this car looks like a finished shell, even though the real work is only now starting.
Inside, the cabin is already moving. Mushroom fabric is in. The roofliner is fitted. A mechanic is working the inner door, the parts that never show on a finished photograph. Latches. Cards. The close of the door.
Leather comes later in a different color. Fabric holds the room for now.
This is how a SUB1000 gets built. Paint first. Then the quiet work that turns a tub into a car.

The interior of CLASSIC S 002 is starting to speak. Cognac leather sits on the bench and already tells you how this cabin will feel once the parts go in. Warm against the Tannengrün Uni. Quiet where the metal is loud.
In the same shop the 3.8 is in the car. Our mechanic works the tune from a laptop, line by line, until the flat six runs the way it should. The leather is for the hands. The software is for the right foot. Both belong to the same build.

The cognac leather came back this week and it already changes the room. You walk past the bench and the cabin of Classic S 002 starts to feel like a cabin, not a pile of parts. In the same hall the 3.8 is in the Tannengrün Uni and our mechanic is at the laptop, working the software until the flat six runs clean. The brakes are already on the car. They need a bleed, then they can take a stop. The kind that does not look like much on camera and still decides how the car will feel.

Classic S 002 does not get an engine from a shelf.
It starts as a case and two banks of fins. Timing chains hang in still air. Nothing turns. Nothing sounds like a 911 yet.
Then a head is lifted into place. Torque comes in sequence. Sports cams find their seats. Displacement is set at 3.8. The work is slow because this unit has to live behind a customer who will use it.
Days later the fan goes on in the same green as the body. Black covers. Silver intake. The 3.8 is no longer a pile of parts. It is 325 hp and 394 Nm waiting for five gears and 1200 kilograms of steel.
Vintage character stays. The extra response is made on this stand.

Swipe through the lift. The car is still in the air. Suspension first. Then the wheels. Once those are on, the shape of the car comes back.

A few interior pieces are already in the cabin. The next work is slower. We are fitting the seatbelts now, because nothing else inside can follow until they sit right.

We carry the old Porsche legacy into the new age.
Vintage character remains. Modern technology enters only where it sharpens the experience. Classic S 002 receives electronic throttle and pedals that rewrite the acceleration feel. The response becomes cleaner, more immediate, more engaging than any standard 964.
Thee machine continues to take form. Every decision serves the drive.

POV: You went for the bespoke option.

Oil coolers settle into place. Turn signals lock in. Front details begin to define the face of this Porsche 964 based machine. The Tannengrün Uni takes on its final character piece by piece. Every fitting is deliberate. Every decision belongs to one customer alone.

The first Targa.
A bare chassis now carries golden panels in an original Porsche colour. The surface is deep, reflective, and exact. Light moves across every curve and every carefully finished gap. t is the first visible statement of what the car will become.
Sportec builds driving machines. This one will open to the sky for the first time in the series. Swiss precision meets air cooled heritage on the 964 platform.
