Job Title: Experienced Commercial Tire Technician
Location: Woodstock, ON
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Hourly Base Rate + Commission for On-Call Emergency Road Service
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. If you take pride in high-quality workmanship, operate safely, and enjoy working with modern equipment, this is the position for you. You will be assigned a dedicated service truck equipped to handle shop work, scheduled fleet maintenance, and emergency roadside calls.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, balancing, repair, and maintenance on commercial truck, trailer, and heavy equipment tires.
Operate and maintain a dedicated mobile service truck to respond to roadside emergency service calls.
Diagnose tire damage and recommend appropriate repairs, or replacements.
Perform fleet inspections and tire pressure maintenance for key commercial accounts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in both the shop and out in the field.
Follow all company safety standards, including proper wheel torque procedures and inflation safety.
Schedule & Earnings Structure
Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Paid Hourly).
On-Call Service: Rotating scheduled emergency roadside support paid on commission, giving you the opportunity to significantly boost your earning potential.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a Commercial / Heavy Duty Tire Technician.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (DZ or Class 3 preferred, or clean G/Class 5 depending on service truck specifications).
TIA (Tire Industry Association) Commercial Tire Service (CTS) certification is an asset. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfortable operating standard tire service machinery and pneumatic tools.
Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment (up to 100+ lbs safely).
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and dependable.
