Attention E85 racers! I've been listening, talked with the tracks and shopped around. Here's the deal. The tracks don't sell enough on a regular basis and are either very reluctant to stock it or have straight up refused to stock it because historically it just sits there.

We at Dragway Rush have an opportunity to stock it ourselves for the event and can have the fuel mobile moving from track to track (not on the route). For it to be a pretty much break even scenario and provide this service will mean E85 at $4/L. Drop a comment below if you would both want this service and how much would you estimate needing during the course of the event so we can get the Goldie Locks amount of not too little and not too much.

P.S. You provide the jerry cans, as it will likely be a drum, not in pails.

Check out our sticker design for this year! I liked it so much I decided it's going on the shirts too. I figured with a name like "The Horsepower Hat Trick" you have to toss one hockey reference in there, in this case right inside the turbo. In keeping with the '3' theme this year you can also expect to see some newly designed awards for the top three in every average-based class, not just winner and runner-up. A few new special awards will also join the usual suspects such as our "Lumberjack" award for best average reaction time or our "Sunday Driver" for our slowest average.

While I'm here, I am happy to say we filled all our empty spots from racers dropping out from breakage!..and then two more broke and are dropping out. Dang! But that means two spots are open again if anyone still has time to book off work.

With the field set, we can now announce the 4 teams competing in our Hometown Throwdown! We had some towns with three, four or even five entries. However these four were standouts. With even the smallest teams making up roughly 4% of the total field of cars this year! Without further ado here they are with total entry amounts listed in ascending order.

This is it! The home stretch for sign ups. If you aren't in by midnight tonight you are out. The only other way in after today is via something we've done in previous years. If anyone breaks or can't make it for some reason we can hopefully sub someone into that spot.
When/if that happens we will post about it here.

We're adding another little twist to our event this year. Our Hometown Throwdown! We've had some communities come out in droves to support Dragway Rush so let's have some fun with it. Here's how this will work. Our staff has selected a handful of towns to compete against each other. All the racers from each of these towns will have their usual final e.t. averages. We will then average all of those final averages to determine the fastest average per each town and hand out some extra awards. So anyone from your hometown is now a part of your "team". Help the slowest on your team with some speed secrets to drop that town's average. Make sure your quick guys and gals hold those cars together for the trip. A drop out could drag that average way down. There is no extra participation required on your part. Do what you were already coming out to do and we'll crunch the numbers at the end of the day.
..and don't forget the sign up deadline is the end of Canada Day!

We'll be at Toronto Motorsports Park this Friday for their evening test and tune. Stop in, make some passes and say hi. We're hoping to hear from some newcomers to Dragway Rush now that we've added this new facility to our event in 2026. I'll do my best to take some pictures and video this time as well and post them on here and our Instagram.
