🚨 This is what happens when a windshield replacement is rushed.
👀 You might never notice it… until someone takes the windshield apart.

This Jaguar XK Convertible came to us after a previous windshield replacement — and what we found was NOT how this job should have been done. 😬

The cowl wasn’t even removed. Instead, the windshield had been installed with urethane applied toward the cowl area… a shortcut that may save time, but can create problems down the road.

This 1965 Austin Healey Sprite gave us a little mystery… 👀

The windshield cracked twice, both times in the exact same lower corners. 🔍 So we decided to try a glass from a different manufacturer — but that created another problem…

The curvature was different. 😬

With classic cars, especially something as unique as this Austin Healey, the glass shape and curvature can be extremely complex. Sometimes, aftermarket options simply don’t match the original glass properly.
