🚨 THINK A WINDSHIELD CLAIM WILL RAISE YOUR INSURANCE?

Think again. 👀

If your windshield is covered under Comprehensive Insurance, in many cases you can replace it by paying only your deductible — and a comprehensive glass claim doesn’t automatically mean your insurance rate will increase. 🛡️

A lot of drivers avoid using their insurance because they’re worried about higher premiums. But that’s exactly why it’s important to understand what coverage you actually have.

At Vision Glass Toronto, we can help you understand your options and guide you through the process. 🚗💨

Don’t pay out of pocket before checking your coverage!

✨ PART 3 — THE FINAL RESULT ✨

From a completely detached headliner… to THIS. 😮‍💨🔥

The owner chose to keep the same original color, and the result speaks for itself. 👌

You’d never know anything had happened. 🤯

The headliner is back where it belongs, looking brand new — and this beautiful Aston Martin is ready to hit the road again. 🏎️💨

Sometimes, the best repair is the one you can’t even tell was done. 😉✨

Another job done right at Vision Glass. 🛠️

PART 2: The real reason the headliner came down… 👀🔥

In Part 1, we showed you the problem.
Now, here’s what was hiding underneath. 😳👇

The old adhesive between the headliner board and the material has completely broken down. After years of heat — especially in a black car absorbing all that extra heat ☀️🔥 — the glue simply stopped doing its job.

And this is how bad it gets… you can literally run your hand over it and it turns to dust. 🤯

❌ Not something you can just “glue back up.”
🛠️ The old material and failing adhesive need to be properly removed before the restoration can begin.

The problem has been found. 👀
Now the real work begins… 🔧✨

PART 3 coming soon! 🔥

🎬 CHAPTER 1: THE PROBLEM 👀🚨

This beautiful Aston Martin came to us with a headliner that had completely come loose from the roof 😳🤯

And as you can see… it’s not just a small problem 😅
The entire material is literally hanging down and hitting Mark in the head while he’s sitting inside the car! 🤦‍♂️

☀️🔥 Because this is a black car, it absorbs a lot more heat. Over time, that heat can cause the original adhesive to break down… until eventually, the headliner starts falling down.

🚗💨 And honestly… driving like this? Almost impossible.

Unfortunately, once the material has completely come loose, we can’t simply glue the old one back up. ❌

The old material needs to come out, and we need to install brand-new material to bring this interior back to life. ✨🛠️

But this is only Chapter 1… 👀

The real transformation is still coming. 😮‍💨🔥

🚗🔧 If it’s auto glass, we can handle it.

Yes, that includes side view mirrors! 👀

And if the mirror housing isn’t damaged, you may NOT need to replace the entire mirror assembly. We can custom cut a mirror to fit and install it ✂️ — a much more affordable option than replacing the entire mirror.

Windshields, sunroofs, convertible glass, mirrors & more…

Auto glass is what we do. 🛠️

🚨 This is what happens when a windshield replacement is rushed.
👀 You might never notice it… until someone takes the windshield apart.

This Jaguar XK Convertible came to us after a previous windshield replacement — and what we found was NOT how this job should have been done. 😬

The cowl wasn’t even removed. Instead, the windshield had been installed with urethane applied toward the cowl area… a shortcut that may save time, but can create problems down the road.

At Vision Glass Toronto, we don’t take shortcuts. 🛠️

We take the time to:
🔧 Remove the necessary components
🛡️ Protect the vehicle
🪟 Properly prepare and install the glass
🔩 Reinstall every piece the way it belongs

Because when you own a beautiful car like this Jaguar, the details matter. 🐆✨

Mark’s recommendation? If you have a car you really care about, bring it to technicians who know how to work on it properly.

Vision Glass Toronto — doing the job right, from start to finish. 👌

Bentley convertible with a problem that could cost you $12,000+… 😳💸

The rear glass completely separated from the convertible top — and normally, the solution would be replacing the entire top, because the glass comes already installed with it.

But at Vision Glass Toronto, we have another option. 👀🔧

Instead of replacing the whole top, we can professionally re-bond the original glass, restoring it properly and giving it a clean, like-new finish. ✨

💰 Repair: under $1,000
💸 Full top replacement: $12,000+ on this particular vehicle

That’s potentially THOUSANDS of dollars saved by repairing what you already have instead of replacing the entire top.

Not every convertible can be repaired this way, but when it can… it can make a HUGE difference. 🔥

Don’t replace the whole top before checking if your glass can be saved.

🚨 TWO WINDSHIELDS. SAME CRACK. SAME SPOT. 😳

This 1965 Austin Healey Sprite gave us a little mystery… 👀

The windshield cracked twice, both times in the exact same lower corners. 🔍 So we decided to try a glass from a different manufacturer — but that created another problem…

The curvature was different. 😬

With classic cars, especially something as unique as this Austin Healey, the glass shape and curvature can be extremely complex. Sometimes, aftermarket options simply don’t match the original glass properly.

And in cases like this, there’s only one real solution: go with original glass. 🏁

It’s not always about finding the cheapest option — it’s about finding the glass that actually fits the car the way it was designed to. 🔧

Classic car? Unique glass? Leave it to the experts. 😉
