Did you know when you remote start your vehicle, it can actually take longer to warm up if the fan is on high?
When the fan is set to high right away, it starts pulling what little heat there is out of the engine and heater core and blowing it into the cabin. That can slow down how quickly the engine reaches normal operating temperature.
Starting with the fan on low or medium lets the engine warm up faster — so you get hot air sooner.
