We were overwhelmed with over 120 letter from everyone and this was one of the toughest jobs we had to do.
Shierley is a 68 years old senior from Winnipeg,MB that still has a full time job and she can’t afford to retire, no one should be working full time at that age . She walks to work and back 35mins each way . Regardless of her disability and regardless of her health condition she was the best candidate for this vehicle . We are proud to introduce our winner for this year’s free vehicle. We are honoured to announce Shierley as the recipient of our annual free vehicle. At 68 years old, she continues to work full‑time, walking 35 minutes each way, all while managing a disability and ongoing health concerns. Her perseverance and spirit truly moved us.
