Thursday evening was the start of a busy weekend for local LBCs. 10 + 1 LBCs were on display at the British Isles Pavilion. Friday is the start of Vintage Race Weekend at Gimli. Saturday is the Transpo car show at Lower Fort Garry. Sunday includes British Car Night car show starting at 4pm at the Pony Corral on Nairn. A good type of busy 🚗📅🏎️

Car show participants: arrive between 10am and 10:30am to get to car show site on time. Check your email for more details.

REMINDER we are switching back to Sunday afternoon club meetings this month. Meeting at 2pm and Brits on the Crescent starting at 3pm. Bring a lawn chair, hat, sunscreen and bug spray. If staying for Brits BBQ, your potluck contribution, appetite and BYOB 🍔🌭🥤

Throwback Thursday... 3 weeks ago today! The Red River Rendezvous held in Selkirk, MB had 107 registrants (and closer to 200 folks in total) coming from Ontario, Saskatchewan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and of course Manitoba. The weather did not cooperate so we had to improvise some events like moving our parking lot games and BBQ dinner indoors. Tours on Friday morning and a poker rally on Saturday morning still happened. The rain held off for the 85 cars that participated in the charity car show on Saturday afternoon. The event concluded with an awards dinner banquet that evening. Another Vintage Sports Car Rendezvous in the books!
