Kerry and I would like to send a sincere thank you to everyone that has reached out to us after the accident. The amount of calls, messages and visits has been overwhelming and appreciated beyond belief. To those that helped in ensuring SewFine Interiors was represented at World of Wheels - thank you!!! You have no idea how much this has meant to both of us.

As an update - Kerry was released from hospital 2 weeks ago after undergoing surgery to put his arm/shoulder back together. He has 12 broken ribs that continue to heal themselves as well. A visit this upcoming Friday to surgeon to have staples removed will give us a better outlook on how things are progressing.

I finally came home last week. I was a little more damaged than Kerry after receiving the brunt of the hit. I spent a week in ICU before being stabilized and moved to a ward. I have 8 broken ribs, 4 broken vertebraes, 5 breaks in my pelvis, a few other smaller fractures and had a collapsed lung. I am walking somewhat now with a walker. I was fortunate in that all my breaks are non-displaced so no surgery required. Just healing. I am so happy to be home - Kerry is taking wonderful care of me.

From the bottom of our hearts - thank you. We are certainly blessed with so many friends, family and strangers that have reached out to us and provided support.

Well that’s a wrap on our first visit to the GNRS, Darryl’s RoidRunner won an outstanding detail award, a great achievement as the field of 12 was very strong. Glad we could add our part to such a great car.

Here is Darryl and Faye Lee’s 69 Plymouth Road Runner aka the “Roidrunner” which is debuting at the 2026 Grand National Roadster Show. This is my first appearance here, which is such an honour to be along side so many great cars and legendary upholstery guys. Many Thanks to Tyler of for building an incredible car. Mostly I need to thank Darryl - he and Faye trusted me to complete the interior work. They had a vision and together we made it a reality. I regret that I was unable to finish the car before Faye’s passing but she did get to see many “in progress” photos and I’m sure she is with us all at the show. Stop by if you can and see this amazing car. Just to let everybody know, Darryl will bring this car up to Winnipeg for World of Wheels this March.
