🦴 Belts: Steel layers that act like your tire’s skeleton. They keep it strong and help prevent pesky punctures.

🛡️ Sidewall: The tire’s squishy edge that soaks up bumps and keeps the tire’s shape. Comfort + protection = win!

🚗💪 Women Who Changed the Automotive World: Meet Dorothee Pullinger

Long before women were commonly seen in the automotive industry, Dorothee Pullinger was already making her mark.

In the early 1900s, she became one of the first female automotive engineers and didn’t stop there. She went on to manage a car factory and played a huge role in designing vehicles specifically with women drivers in mind.

Think about that for a second…
At a time when cars weren’t even built for women, she helped change that. 👏

Her work made driving more accessible and practical for everyone, and helped open the door for future generations of women in the trade.

Today, women continue to shape this industry every day. On the floor, under the hood, and behind the scenes. And it all started with pioneers like her.
