Margo and I have relocated to Stony Plain and are looking for shop space to rent within a 30km radius. I have retired from Millar Western Pulp but want to continue with my home based CNC business. Here is a 2.5D sign I carved for Kokopelli Cabins owner Gwen Hunt. CNC carved out of high density urethane foam and painted with 3 coats of exterior latex and acrylics. HDU foam is better than wood because it doesn't take on water. I you want a wood look it can be carved to make it look like its wood.

Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven't been posting anything lately but I have been quite busy over the past year. I thought I would at least share one of the projects I worked on. I was commissioned to build this little gem and it turned out real nice. If I may say so myself.

The box is made out of walnut and maple. The pistol sits in a line tray that can be removed to access your ammo. The eschutcheon over the key hole is carved to resemble the end of a pistol barrel. This particular box is for a Beretta as indicated by the inlay.

We are now building custom cabinets for fire trucks. Made from waterproof tough polyethylene and stainless steel fasteners with 400 lb locking drawer sliders. Everything is dadoed together to keep it square. A must for those rough roads you sometimes have to tackle. Completely done on a CNC machine so everything is exact and square.

So often the space in fire trucks is underutilized. Fittings and hoses piled up on the floor with 16-24" or more of unused space above. Hard to find things when you're in a hurry. Not good when every second counts.

By putting some drawers, shelves and slots in you can store over twice as much in those spaces also making things easier to find.

The cabinets I make are custom. No truck seems to use the same size so if you would like to get your rig organized better take a bunch of photos of the interior of the space. Put them into power point and indicate measurements. Measure the items you want to store in the cabinet. Make a drawing of how you would like the cabinet to be laid out and send it to me.

New this week and for sale at Chez nous downtown Whitecourt are cool sturdy Baltic birch plywood stacking boxes great for gift boxes, toy boxes, storage boxes, etc. Measuring 10"x20"x8" deep inside they are a great price at $32.95 each plus gst.

Also we have a new batch of crib boards coming for the Christmas season. Each crib board has a lid with magnets to hold it securely in place, 3 pairs of pegs and a deck of cards. Choose from one of our stock lasered lids or ask about having something special put onto it. A crib board with an in stock lid goes for $149.95 plus gst. If you want something custom lasered the price is $249.95 plus gst.
