Happy birthday to this wonderful man Apo.

I have been fortunate enough to work with and get to know Apo quite well over the last few years.
He is a family man , a great dad, husband, and son.

He is a role model and a great teacher for the next generation of technicians. He's an incredibly hard worker, and is eager to solve any problem that's put in front of him. He always wants the best for everyone around him.

I learn from Apo constantly even outside of work. He has great insight on life and how to appreciate what's in front of you, and all the good things surrounding you. Which sometimes I overlook.
Little things he probably has no idea that I take away from his friendship.

I take pride in surrounding myself with people I can learn from and grow with. I have 2 full shops of people I admire and care for.
It keeps me motivated to do my best for them and be able to support them as they have supported me.

Happy birthday apo. You sir are one of a kind.

Here is a prime example of why you should trust your mechanic....

I will leave out the company who performed this vehicle's initial safety....cause the point of this isn't to shame someone. It also isn't made to make us look like the good guy .. it's about hardworking people and the service they should receive.......

We are seeing this on a weekly basis but this has been the worst...

Details :
2015 Honda CRV with 30,000 KM. Yes 30...

The client was quoted. $9000.00 in repairs... Some required and some recommended ..

The total of the " required for Safety" items
= $ 2936.20 plus the $315.00 inspection....

The client said they would like another opinion, luckily it came to us....and thank goodness for that intuition on her part......

We were able to inspect and complete the safety on this Honda CRV...

The result ? It needed a battery .. that's it ...

No brakes. No control arm, no calipers...
Just the battery because it won't hold a charge ..

The first thing that comes to my mind is .....

Tell me this dealership wasn't looking to scare this lady into scrapping her 10 year old vehicle.
Then Selling her a new one ..
and a technician buying this to flip it ? Or even the dealer actually flipping it....

Or better yet.. a flat rate technician making his monthly salary in a day or two's worth of work...
Because they decided humanity isn't important, being trustworthy isn't important , being honest isn't important...what's important is a pay day ..

Truly upsetting..this is what gives " Mechanics " a bad name

We will be following up with the MTO and reporting this. And hopefully they can send an agent to review this vehicle in person while in our possession.

Feel free to share and talk about it...be diligent on where you service...trust who you service with...and just because the vehicle is a certain brand doesn't mean the dealer is the only place to go ..

Another amazing year in the books !!

An incredible turnout from all of our clients, we were able to donate over 3 large moving boxes of toys and gifts. Filling our shuttle van once again.

( If you visited the shop you would see just how big these boxes are !! )

We tried running this bolt on
Kit for this LS Apache...needless to say, you can't without installing an intercooler. ( Despite this kit's design to be without one)

As soon as you get on the throttle the Intake temps would spike , pull all kinds of timing and the truck would fall on its face...

So who better to fix this than Mike .... First class pipe wizard. Amazing dude , with un matches welding and fabrication skills. So much passion in one person. It's nice to soak it in and let him loose with design and ex*****on.

Thank you dude !

Next summer we will get a Proper tune and then naturally shred some tires.

A little late on my part..
But a couple weeks ago we were able to get both Whitby and Ajax shops together with everyone's significant other for a day out.

What better way than going to watch a game !!

We all had a ton of fun and it was a great way to unwind together outside of our Monday to Friday grind.

We were long over due for some fun at the shop, the team has been working hard as always and we needed a couple of hours to cut out early and have some laughs.

What better way then go karting , talk some smack and settle scores on the race track. 🏎️🏎️🚀

I'm lucky to be surrounded by these guys, always putting in the effort, showing up , working hard, helping each other and helping the community when they need it.
raceway was incredible , fast carts and a great track. We will be back!

Thank you guys for all the hard work , it doesn't go unnoticed. I appreciate you !
